"That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
“LUNAR” is a light installation inspired by the first step on the moon and its iconic imagery on uncharted terrain known to mankind.
The installation extrapolates the dense metal core of the moon, mostly composed of iron and nickel and reconceptualizes the moon narrative into a machine-driven object. It is a machine that harnesses moondust, rocks and lunar water while fusing manmade innovations to create new forms of materials.
Over time, this installation becomes one part celestial and one part terrestrial, layered by diverse textures and memories. These stories are brought to life through its inner luminosity as it traverses across various dimensions.
